Verification and Emulation

The ZeBu-UF Ultra-Fast Emulator provides a design capacity of up to
6M ASIC gates, thus is an ideal verification platform for debugging
logic blocks, IP, FPGAs and small to medium scale ASIC designs. It
plugs directly into a standard PCI slot can can be configured with
one, two or four Xlinx Virtex-4 LX200 FPGAs, plus up to 512MBytes of
on-board memory.

ZeBu-UF also offers two in-circuit emulation interfaces to connect the
DUT to a target system and/or software debugger. The in-circuit
emulation interface, called DirectICE, is used to connect the
emulated design under test to a target system via a maximum of 360
single-ended I/O pins and 26 differential LVDS I/O pins. Another
interface, called SmartICE, is used to connect ZeBu-UF to any
peripheral with a maximum of 32 I/O pins. Both interfaces can
operate concurrently. The DirectICE interface can also be used to
accomodate hard cores, such as ARM logic tiles embedded in the
DUT.
