Established on December 2001, ETOMS is continuously dedicating in the IC design area. ELAN Microelectronics Corp. (EMC) is the major investor to ETOMS. ETOMS issued capital is NT$180 million to date. In 2003, ETOMS moved into the Hsin-Chu Science Based Industrial Park.
ETOMS has a vision to create a future life; “Audio/Video (AV) life in a wireless environment''. Consequently, ETOMS is engaging in display control, audio and imaging processing, and wireless technology related IC design. And ETOMS is devoted to be an AV total solution provider as well. ETOMS hopes the end customers can enjoy AV life with the lowest price in the market.
Therefore, ETOMS develop five technology fields: images capture (Smart Sensor), image display (OLED controller), AV compression/decompression (Multi-Media), wireless transmitting (RF), and micro-controller (uC). Integrating the five tech fields, ETOMS can make “AV life in a wireless environment'' come true.
