1986 Yamanaka Yasuhiro established Pacific Engineering and Trading Corp. in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Production machinery and Chemical plants exported to Taiwan commenced.
1987 With the "Fine Ceramic Boom", all manufacturing equipments, technologies, materials, and products & semi-products trading became and integral part of business. Establishment of Taiwan Branch Office.
1993 Headquarter relocated to Higashi-Ikebukuro, Tokyo. Established business relations with China and Korea.
1995 The opening of Beijing branch office encouraged our business development focusing on China.
1996 Selling of Optical connector components began. Participated in the "Beijing PT/EXPO."
1997 A strong Yen encouraged the business to shift toward R & D planning and Engineering. Company is renamed Pacific Technology Corporation. Start of Importing combined with Exporting.
1998 Optical Communication business became mainstream. Optical connectors, optical communication accessories, measuring device are also part of the core business. Establishment of Shanghai Branch Office. Participated in the Beijing Exhibition.
1999 Establishment of Branch office in both Shenzhen and Wuhan. Optical connector components sales enjoyed expanded growth. Participated in the Shanghai China Elecomm Expo.
2000 Responding to the "IT Era Declaration" of Tokyo Summit, the market demand for optical communication increased. Participated in "AsiaCommunic2000" in Singapore. Established Singapore Representatives.
2001 To correspond to the shortage of ferrules worldwide, PTC provides the complete ferrule manufacturing plant tailored to China and Taiwan. From Blank Ferrule manufacturing through Precise Grinding Process our record of Achievement precedes our name.
