4.台灣公司與美國公司合作取得國外某太空計劃中心，探空影像感測器(space sensor)之開發合作與生產。 CMOS Sensor Inc. is a company founded in 1997 dedicated to CMOS Sensor Technology. The company designs and manufacture various sensor chips and also builds image sensing modules for applications such as fax, copier, video camera and document scanners.
The company designs various types of analogue IC in house and send the design out to foundry for manufacturing. These manufactured chips (actually wafers) are tested again in house for functional dies. The company is ready to sell these wafers to large customers for them to package these dies into their imaging module called CIS (contact Imaging Sensor). For smaller customers who do not have facility to package these chips into multi-chip long imaging modules, CMOS sensor also provides module manufacturing for these customers. Again, the company designs the module and fabricate them and delivers to these customers. We produce dies, packaged single die linear array, CIS module of various speed, length, color or monochrome and integrate them into customer applications. We also design entire optical system for specific imaging applications, such as survailance Cameras on a satellite to capture multispectral earth resources images.
Located in Silicon Valley, the company designs CMOS Sensor chips and have offshore manufacturing partner to produce these chips. We also have module design and manufacturing facilities in China to supply cost effective solutions to our module customers. Finally, the in house capability can provide unique solutions such as imaging subsystem to be used on Satellite for earth resources imaging.
