The harnessing and the wiring of components and complete assemblies for railway and utility vehicles and the automotive ector as well supplement our range of products. Our production of electric couplings is based on more than 80 years of experience in the field of developing electric contacts. The contact systems manufactured at era-contact are especially designed for adverse and changing environmental conditions and to last 100,000 coupling processes under these conditions. era-contact manufactures high-performance products, combining compactness, signal stability and steadiness under load withoutstanding quality. The core competences of era-contact are signal transmission and power transmission up to an amperage of 800 A (e.g. connection assembly of UIC-552 type). At our production plants in Germany, China and Tunisia we manufacture our products for the global market according to ISO TS 16949:2002, thus ensuring quality and customer proximity at the same time.
