LGS was founded in 1999 with the goals of providing a one stop service ranging from industrial design to plastic injection, and to provide you with the best available products and services. Our own Research Institute, established in June 2000, has developed new mold technologies. One of our inventions, the quick delivery mold technology (refer to the certifications granted), is proven to drastically reduce both lead-time and cost. The Institute’s achievements also include new developments in the areas of the optical design and micro replication. We are currently working on a national project for micro replication as an official part supplier, designated by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy, Korea.
Our Mold Division has an excellent staff, many of whom have 10-15 years of experience working with major manufacturers. Our Mold Division has set up a one-stop service system covering industrial design to plastic injection. The system is expected to furnish you, our customers, with convenient supplier management services, clarity of accountability and rapid problem solving. Our objective is to always deliver the best quality, at the most competitive price, within the fastest time.
Our Optics Division has succeeded in domestically producing prism sheet technology (also known as BEF by 3M) employing the micro replication technology developed by our R&D Center. These products are a key component of the TFT-LCD industry where Korean companies play a dominant role. Our developments have allowed substitution for imports (such as the well-known 3M products).
Our R&D Center is staffed with scientists having masters and Ph.D degrees. Their goal is to continue to develop new and varied applications utilizing our own micro replication technology, utilizing optical parts and materials, as well as new mold technology. Another focus is to develop NANO and related technology, which is emerging as a key element in the 21st century world economy. | |
